Legislative Update 2008

The 2008 Legislative Session resulted in many new laws that affect real estate licensees either directly or indirectly.  The Arizona School of Real Estate and Business produced a thorough 2008 legislative summary, and we appreciate the opportunity to reprint that summary.  You can view their summary here.

Unsubdivided Land Legislative Proposal For Public Comment

ADRE is working on a legislative proposal related to Unsubdivided Lands that is designed to combat illegal development.  This is a very rough draft of that proposal.  This proposal stems from one of our 2007 summer workgroup recommendations to eliminate the Unsubdivided Lands category.  Our current proposal is not to eliminate Unsubdivided Lands but instead proposes to restrict the parcels within the Unsubdivided Land development from further splits.

We do not intend for our draft proposals to be considered the only options.  These proposals are our initial effort to come up with something that will start discussion on the subject.  Please click here to review the proposals.
