Welcome to the Auditing Division. The Auditing Division consists of five (5) auditors. The Assistant Commissioner of Licensing, Professional Education & Auditing manages and directs the activities of the Auditing Division for Arizona Department of Real Estate. The Division implements policies to audit the State of Arizona’s 13,000 + Real Estate Brokers to ensure they are operating in compliance with the statutes and Commissioner’s Rules.
The Auditing Division also conducts complex auditing of financial records and business operations by the State’s Commercial & Residential Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Timeshare, Campground, Cemetery, Subdivision, and Development Brokers. The Auditing Division may determine if the audit will be referred for further investigation or administrative action. The Division staff may testify at hearings to provide information pertinent to administrative actions decisions involving disciplinary actions up to and including denying and/or revoking licenses.
